Dave was cleaning some of the glasses from his previous customers when he heard a request. He turned to the customer and saw Sebastian, someone he told could wait at the bar while he waited for the boss. Crap, why me? Wait, I could get a good tip if I treat him right.Ook Dave, don’t fuck up. “How bout a shot of whiskey to get ya started then?” Dave took the shot glass from the cabinet, as well as the Jack Daniels, and poured it quickly and with skill. He served it to the guy Wait, what was his name again…Seblaine? No, that sounds wrong. I remember now! “Here ya go Sebastian.” Dave hoped that it didn’t sound weird that Dave remembered his name.
Sebastian shrugged when the bartender asked him if a shot of whiskey would be fine. He normally preferred a nice glass of wine in a fine restaurant accompanied by a cheese platter… but something about trying to work with Jessie made him crave the stronger stuff.
When the bartender knew his name he was slightly surprised, he didn’t normally interact with the staff here at Club Muse… he supposed the ones that had been working here for a while might have picked up his name from Jessie.
“I’m afraid I’m at a disadvantage, you seem to know my name but I don’t know yours.”
